Frequently Asked Questions

Which type of yoga is best for lower back pain?

Gentle, restorative, chair, and slow Hatha yoga are often practical starting points because they emphasize controlled movement, breath, and adaptable poses rather than intensity. Yin yoga may also support relaxation and flexibility when practiced carefully. The best choice depends on your symptoms, mobility, and comfort level. Start slowly, use props, and avoid any position that causes sharp, worsening, or radiating pain.
