The Vision

The inspiration behind Spirit Body Yoga is a desire to see more people find peace and joy in their everyday lives; a consistent yoga practice can help us get there. It is said that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience, yet, so many don't take time to nurture their spiritual side. There is so much focus on the natural but spiritually so many of us are starving and searching for more.

A healthy and strong body is vital not just for our human existence, but also for our spiritual wellbeing. In every class, we will strengthen our physical body because it is the vessel of our spirit. We will also incorporate the 8-limbed path of yoga through short thought-provoking meditations that will feed and strengthen our spirit.

Many people believe that Yoga is just exercise or that it is a religion but yoga is actually a series of introspective principles with the purpose of drawing one nearer to God. These ancient principles are found in many spiritual practices including the Bible.
